Caramalised Crown Roast of Turkey, Sage and Onion Stuffed Acorn Squash,Onion Mashed Potatoes, and Carrots and Swiss chard make are the new entry in the vegetable chart this week.
This is of course Swiss Chards first solo outing since parting company with Blue Cheese and Filo Pastry last month.
Pudding is a bannofee pie.
The trouble is, after messing around with this feast since early this morning, I will doubtlessly be past hunger by lunchtime!

How was the Swiss Chard?

It seems to a bit of a wonder vegetable in it's vitamin content. But does it taste nice ?

Chard is ok and full of iron, a bit chewy, and incredible much like spinach, how it fills the fridge, and then grants you only a spoonfull each when cooked.
It arrives in the veg box that is delivered, but I would not seek it out deliberately.
The amazing food star of the day, was the stuffed squash, I only cooked it as an ornament and centrepiece really, nothing is left at all anyway.
A proud and tired cook!
