It really is time someone made allegations against the Prime Minister to illustrate how easy it is to do.

How convenient that the press were waiting on the doorstep when the police arrived.

How convenient that the police have released the location of the alleged assault.

I have a feeling this is maybe more to do with one of Cliffs "companions" than with the man himself.

And will the BBC now stop playing old Cliff hits even though only his house has been searched? This kind of thing was precisely what I wanted to give evidence to Lord Leveson about but he decided it did not conform to the Inquiry's agenda.

Wonder whether any of the "and co" on that forum have a practical interest in fuelling the rumours.

Just to elaborate about my Leveson evidence (rejected). I expressed on paper the very dangerous situation of the police and CPS using the media to construct a case. Much as entrapment used to be in those happy days when being gay was illegal, this is how it works.

Police search a home of a celebrity - leaking the information to the media beforehand. So even without an arrest they get massive media publicity. Then dozens of others, provoked by the media coverage (certain "details" are likewise leaked... underage, venue, date, claims) come forward with similar stories. Investigating these, police rapidly discover 95 of the 100 are by total loonies looking for compensation but 5% could just provide them with a case worth taking to court so they arrest, try and often convict an innocent person (this works against women as well as men).

So - exactly as in my case 14 years ago - a crime that NEVER HAPPENED is created and an innocent person is wrongly convicted to serve 7 years in jail and have his career (and those of many connected to him) destroyed.

This method, incidentally, has worked for years for NON celebrities in the LOCAL media (on a far smaller scale). I met many victims in prison.

Whilst I'm delighted that so many high profile people are now starting to complain about the treatment Cliff received I do wish they had shouted equally loudly when the same thing was done to me 14 years ago. Perhaps it's taken all the other cases of unfair use of the media to highlight the evil in our midst. Perhaps they'll do a Coronation Street storyline about it.

With you all the way JK....people however are weird creatures.They can agree with both sides simultaneously,and not even know they're doing it....eg They're all complaining about Cliff and the Corrie stars' treatment,but cursing Rolf and Stuart Hall in the same breath.
They really do need more press coverage to highlight what really goes on in a trial of this type.Hopefully that will start to come out soon.

Politicians are hugely stupid but it must be dawning on the men that one of them is about to get "done" by the false accusers (or, even more likely, by the "almost true but not quite" accusers). The trouble is - they are terrified of being marked down as a "paedo apologist" or even accelerating the possible allegation if they openly do anything about it.

So they need to get a woman to stand up and suggest changing the law back to needing evidence. And to ban publicity about accusations (hear the Mail howl) unless or until they become charges.

As hysteria mounts about the way the South Yorkshire Police set up the BBC to get maximum media coverage of the search of an innocent celebrity's house, I wonder whether the Vaz committee will bother to call me as a witness as to how and why these prosecutions are constructed. I offered to appear before John Whittingdale's committee during the Leveson era but was not asked to provide my vital evidence. Likewise, the Lord Brian decided my contribution was not in the agenda of his narrow Inquiry (essentially the agenda was to make the Prime Minister look good). I'll bet Keith Vaz will also decide my personal experience would not inform his panel. Fair enough. That's what political committees are for - to distract attention from the reality.

What happened to me is my evidence; in detailed, specific explanation with factual information gathered since the fiasco.

And you are sure in your own mind that no emotional/psychological harm was ever done to anyone as a result of you actions. I just want to be clear about this.

You can never be sure - who knows how others function? I fear, by not breaking some hits, I caused damage to certain artistic skills. Sad but true.
