Back in the 60s on one of the package tours.

Granny and my Mum had gone to the stage door to try and see Cliff, and when he arrived he was beseiged by fans and he put an arm around my Granny and let her into the doorway to protect her.

(In case he ever denies being at the venue, Bruce Welch, of the Shadows, in his autobiography, says that the first time he got a Rolls he was on tour, so it was delivered to this self-same theatre, and that after the shows he, Cliff and the rest of the Shadows drove to Sheffield and back to try the new car out.)

Do I Get Compo ?
