It looks like, doesn't it?
his twitter is revolting. it is of course possible that he believes that by bringing our attention to child abuse cases he is helping, but it gives the impression that he is reveling in the gory details and advertising his business through it.
Re:Did MWT tip the press off ? Cliff search 10 Years, 11 Months ago
Ok, the BBC contacted Yorkshire Police with some info before the house search, so Yorkshire Police who had earlier denied decided to bring the media in on it.
Now the question is did a person tip off the BBC and if so who was it, all getting very messy.
If Cliff has nothing to answer or is found to be not guilty in a trial at a future date I think its time to bring kegal action against all the accusers and whistle blowers.
what is next ? questioning of Sir Cliff i suspect.
Evidence must be solid.
Re:Did MWT tip the press off ? Cliff search 10 Years, 11 Months ago
I'm sorry - you're missing the point here. A spurious claim HAS to be publicised (unofficially) a) as a "great story" for the media but mainly b) to provoke those other claims, a few of which might lead to a successful court case. It's the new way.
Re:Did MWT tip the press off ? Cliff search 10 Years, 11 Months ago
David Cameron abused me when I was six, 45 years ago, but I lack the courage to "come forward". Has anybody else been abused by David Cameron? Just thought I'd ask because if we could get, say, about 50 or 60 of us together to make similar allegations then I'd be all set to go public and I reckon this thing would be a humdinger.
Re:Did MWT tip the press off ? Cliff search 10 Years, 11 Months ago
oh JK is right and this is the most ghastly & despicable trawling operation against Cliff.
Note the glee of the Yorks plod announcing others have "come forward" which could mean sod all.
I was speaking to a criminal lawyer in Sydney on Friday- he did point out that lumping together cases (as in Rolf / Max Clifford) could generally not happen in Oz-and each charge would have to be tried separately.
He said most lawyers are aghast at how British law has been watered down to favour the 'victim"
It is said the complainant first went to MWT and I believe he has a source at Yewtree who tipped him off and he tipped off the BBC.
Funny feeling this case may be the end of Yewtree(but I was wrong about Rolf except- reading a QC's decimation of the faulty evidence against Rolf I believe a serious miscarriage of justice has been done)
##MWT clearly talking about Jim Davidson's book in his tweet where Jim accuses MWT of dabbling...but the man is a plonker. Davidson's claims are not defamatory- possibly MWT thinks he's on another winner but he is plainly quite stupid.
Cunning but stupid. And very dangerous/
Re:Did MWT tip the press off ? Cliff search 10 Years, 11 Months ago
I am convinced MWT is the leak in the bucket, he was asked the direct question in a tweet, no response came back. Personally if someone accused me and they were wrong I would defend myself.
Dangerous.
Cunning.
devious.
a lier.
pretentious.
Smug.
