I would want FIONA to tell me who provided her with a copy of the out of date Surrey Police headed paper in order for someone to forge a letter purporting to come from them about Jimmy Savile.
It may be, of course, that forgery of a police document is not a crime. I wouldn't know, I'm not a lawyer.
But if it is I would think that assisting, or even encouraging, such a crime would be a crime too.
And how did that person get hold of such an out dated sheet and logo? Stole it? Or might they have worked for the force years earlier?
