Roots of the reconciliatory 'Carnival' were the now forgotten (by some) 1958 'Notting Hill Race Riots'. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notting_Hill_race_riots Grittily recalled by another great Brit actor-institution in, 'Flame In The Streets'.
