a recently credited detective of a month does not lead any investigation. Always led by at least an Inspector even if you have had "nearly 30 years in child protection" at age 44.

The responsibility lies with the broadcaster and the police, not the informant. Mark Williams-Thomas could tip the BBC off all day long but they don't have to act on it.
