Coalition Hospitals starve the poor 10 Years, 10 Months ago

More dispatches from the National Hungry Service: MailOnline readers reveal the pitiful portions, soggy vegetables and rubbery fish being served up on our hospital wards

No doubt it's all the fault of Gordon Brown

It's get bad to worse even, celebrity chefs have tried and failed to improve hospital food government don't spend enough on it, their weekly shops are claimed expenses, we have selfish and clueless coalition.

It is nothing to do with the coalition because it has been like this for more than twenty years!
I cant remember which moron brought in private catering and cleaning firms to the hospitals and made nursing a career rather than a vocation, but you can blame them!

The Tories privatised hospital services back in the 90s Honey.
As for nursing I ran a nursing agency between 90-95....Nurses were at their lowest ebb back then...now who was in government at that time?

As for hospital food,a few years ago now I was in hospital, the food was so much better than this.

I think it is hit and miss and it helps if you are in long enough to order, and not have to take the leftovers.
I once ordered a pudding that was described as "Gypsy surprise"
I imagined it as blackberries with meringue and cream. It was a shock when it turned out to be a custard cream biscuit.
