Oh, I don't think she will be ignored for much longer. She translates what we are are all ranting about into something beautifully written and straight to the point.

agree..she is a great columnist. Editors are stupid not tp snap her up.

Well, Ruth, I've checked many of her comments (such as excerpts from the NHS reports) and they are word for word accurate.

Anna,normally spot on,but for me Rotherham was digested,but her heart ruled her conclusions.A great lady,which is not an accolade you've earned as yet.

I haven't found any discrepancies yet, but if you have an example I would be interested to hear it.

As for faking illness, the accusation seems very mean-spirited to me. Why on earth would you think that?

Funnily enough, Pat, I didn't like the Rotherham one either, but her writing is always of interest, even when I disagree.

I thought her article was spot on and at least, unlike most of the hacks- she actually reads these reports that cost so much money and has an excellent ability to get to the heart of the matter.

IE: the tabloids are screeching about a "cover-up" when the report finds the opposite, rather a continuing broken chain of command.

can you believe it- there is now an Australian academic who worked in Rotherham for 3 years and she is now being harassed about this matter.

clearly there is about to be a Rotherham Witch Hunt and the red-tops and 'serious' papers will willingly join in.
