For Honey and other more recent additions to our Forums - BR was a regular and much loved poster, some years ago, who warned that he/she might be having problems and suddenly fell silent. We'd all love to know how and where he/she is.

Yes sadly missed,besides the nasty trolling which he had to endure there did seem to be some quite 'strange' things going on in his life...for example he seemed to share an identity with a black criminal...the police for some reason thought he was the same person.He did tell us about time spent on remand because of this,and if memory served me well he was expecting a custodial sentence.

BR stood for 'board regular',and he did have an interest in conspiracy theories..sure others will have anecdotes...or even the archives,which are full of his posts...and replies.

Yes, I remember him. It's a pity he didn't leave some third party contact details with you, JK, so that we could all find out what happened to him. If I recall, there was some rather sinister suggestion that the forces of law (doubtful) and order (whose order?) were after him. Or was that somebody else? I can't quite remember.

This is one of the problems with the online world. People disappear. Nobody knows. Quite often nobody cares. This time we care. But what can we do?

Oh a thread I started so long ago...so much has happened since then. I wrote an account for the courts of some of my experiences which I posted on Anna Racoon's blog comments once just so I could feel it was not a total waste of time.

Rob Da Bank only ever wrote one book as far as I'm aware: "Rob da Bank's A-Z of Festivals: My Festival Life in 26 Letters"

I always found BR a decent poster and often defended him. As for the comments on the long forgotten thread in the link above... about Billy *goats*?! the thread started with my bio so pretending I had not been open was a joke failure really. Adam, Oxford et al...

I've been accused on Twitter by three *famous* people of being a troll. But as with here my identity is not hidden and my points intended to be worthwhile. My experience of trolls is that they have no particular identity?!
