He can say whatever he likes, because Labour haven't a hope in hell while he is in charge.
This made me smile -
"In the early days there were no rules on who could vote. But a feeling developed that too many "persons of low estate" were doing so. So from 1430 you could only vote if you owned property worth 40 shillings. The rule stayed in place for 400 years".

Odd how so many Brits don't give a stuff about being ripped off as long as it's a billion pound entity but show 'em a Red Dee and they start frothing at the mouth.
It's actually WHITE DEE, and they probably cost us far more than the corporations when ALL their handouts are taken into account.
At least we get something back from the corporations (and they actually employ a few people !)
ITK proves my points thank you very much .
Amazing.. he is thankful for the pittance from tax dodgers & makes the bizarre claim about White Dee costs more than say, as just one example : Vodafone who have bilked the taxpayer of £6B to date and actually thinks he has a right to condone it. ( not that Noo Labour will correct this theft..same same as Tories)
## I was referring to White Dee's cousin Red Dee who lives nearby in 2 council flats and has 14 children from 18 different fathers and takes state sponsored holidays in Torremolinos in a luxury villa.
###as Hedda the Oracle predicted on here years ago, the Tories under former PR man Cameron will do nothing about the social security bill (after all-they created it) and just tinker at the edges.
Meanwhile Rupert Murdoch pays himself around £30m a year in wages, costs the taxpayer up to £40M in prosecuting his corrupt empire which rolls on unscathed and laughing all the way to it's Seychelles bank.
#### You either want everyone to pay their fair share or you are just a blatant hypocrite and the moronic claim that tax avoiding corps (it's in the £100Bs a year - think about what that could pay for)somehow give something back defies the first Rule of Capitalism :where there is a vaccuum it will be filled no matter how high or low their profits.
Nor do " we get something back from the corporations"-we subsidise them including their employees.
Google another example- rigging the books, employing minimal staff whilst rapidly destroying the publishing & advertising business and creating 10,000s of unemployed & based in cyberspace and almost beyond the reach of law.
## as Hedda The Great also pointed out : after 9/11 the USA / UK cracked down on Tax Havens in respect of legal entities set up to finance terrorist organisations and succeeded simply by threatening them including small Tax Haven states like the Caymans. It can be done.

Silliband "insists" deficit is priority -
Ed Miliband has admitted missing out a passage on the UK's financial deficit in his Labour Party conference speech.
In a round of media interviews he said "one of the perils" of delivering a speech without a script was "not remembering every detail".

........ details such as who will be paying the bills LOL !

Tories take a MASSIVE lead over Labour in the polls
Voters who think the Conservatives have the best economic policies have risen from 35 per cent to 45 per cent over the last six months, according to pollsters Ipsos MORI.
The figure compared with just 20 per cent who back Labour on the issue, down from 22 per cent.
The gaping 25-point lead on policies seen as central to who will win the general election next May.

Everyone can see that the Tories are managing the books very well (under the circumstances). Even the scroungers know its true (they just don't want to believe it !)
