TOPIC: Abu Qatada
#120927
Abu Qatada 10 Years, 10 Months ago
Interesting that a Jordanian court has acquitted him. They hate him there so this says a lot for Jordanian justice. And a lot about the evil British trilogy of media, police and politicians. Something stinks.

It wasn't about his words JK,it was about whether we wanted him here, and could we deport immigrants who obviously were not wanted here by the vast majority of sensible citizens.

I've given up entirely on "British justice" and believe it's on such a slippery slope that it's going to get a lot worse over the years.

there seems to be something in the British character (or enough of them)where they will accept Fascism so easily.

once the law begins to crumble it 's the end of the beginning and there isn't a UK lawyer I speak to (I know 4) who do not confirm what I say and say their colleagues are hugely worried that so many protections are being swept aside.I wouldn't even repeat what they say about Alison Saunders..they are totally perplexed that such a shallow and none too bright hack lawyer could get so far.

## they all say that being part of the EU is Britain's only hope. Going alone it would turn into the UK into a nasty little island run by the clueless who take directions from the Murdochs of the world.

## why I like living in a hot country. not nearly so fanatical. They even played a Rolf Harris song on ABC radio today- not one complaint and life went on as before.

### ITK will be pleased that they abhor the idea of Labour but only because the ranks are full of dills similar to the Tories.

Indeed it does ....

They bent over backwards to force him out of the country - making all kinds of claims (non ever verified, of course) against him.

I wonder if they will let him back in now ? LOL

It's why we ever let him in the country in the first place?

We should have control over who comes in,and who we kick out...and David Cameron could have saved millions had he listened to Nigel Farage.

wot the fanatical bit or Rolf?

a broadcaster I love- James Valentine played Rolf's "In the of The Court of King Caractacus" and I haven't heard a whisper about it but there's always time.

My neighbour now works for the Oz MailOnline -perhaps I'll alert her !

here's Rolf at age 14 in 1940...isn't he slim & ever so innocent looking?
