Yes Chris - from an objective point of view it's interesting noticing how many small details the media get wrong… then "chinese whispers" they spread, due to other papers reprinting them without checking (bad, bad journalism)… all started by police and CPS exaggerating them in order to get a better case and then the media, reporting the cases, exaggerating them further to make "a better story".

And, naturally, Wikimedia - another source for lazy journalists (the majority) which is overwhelmingly edited by people who also prefer the negative viewpoint (better story) who then chop and twist the new "facts" in order to conform with the better story.

on Wikipedia- I drew a rebuke from an "editor' who claimed I was - by continually changing MWT's entry and adding his Blackmail prosecution- which MWT would delete after a few days....that I was 'defaming' him.

After some argy bargy with Wikipedia "founder" Jimmy Wales who I threatened to sue for libel if his "editors" continued to (falsely) acccuse me of defamation- we reached a settlement.
I could change MWT's entry and so could he. A tennis game.

I've always hated morning /breakfast TV and Bruce Gyngell once told me he knew it was such an appalling idea catering to the Lowest Common Denominator that it would be a huge success !
