Weekend food post - 10 Years, 10 Months ago  
Can anyone explain why Aloo Gobi is getting hard to find? I just had quite a nice Waitrose potato and onion Indian dish but nowhere near as nice as aloo gobi which, even in restaurants, seems often not available.

I don't know why it isnt available, but it only takes a few minutes to make and it freezes well so perhaps you could make yourself a batch of ready meals?

I have a really good Indian restaurant (chain) near me which has Aloo Gobi on the menu one day a week only. They keep doing a version of potatoes and spinach which I don't like nearly as much and I keep nagging at them.
