Vaguely yes. I loved them there is someone near me with one they still look cool, better than a smart a car and I'm sure they are a better babe magnet than no car at all.

Maybe give every doler a Sinclair to look for work.

I think it is lovely. I would like one to drive/ride down to the shops, only it doesn't look very safe.

I have a fully operational one in my shed.I think they would work now in London, but the mistake they made was introducing it on a cold wet winters day in 1985. Driving next to a lorry is terrifying. Also they were useless going up any gradient hence the necessary pedal power. Legally if they had made them at all powerful you would need to have a licence and helmet. As it is a 13 year old is fully legal driving one on the road.

I think they would be successful if were re-launched. They would have use the cycle lanes and even that that would not be ideal, a licence would have to be essential.

Foz I heard once the battery has gone that it's for good.

There is actually now a guy in Crawley who produces a wiring kit so that you can convert them to run it on leisure batteries
