How nice to have my fashion sense publicly approved by Hadley Freeman in the Guardian!

..not a bad read actually either, some good points made about clothing.
I don`t agree with Ms Freeman about pursuing youth with loud clothes at all though, this is a bit like saying that when I`m sixty I wont like the Sex Pistols anymore, and will prefer Maria Callas.
When I reached 40, I went into a restrained clothing period, cut my hair very short and ordinary and became "normal".
One look at Jon Lydon, on "Im a Celeb", and I saw the error of my ways, and decided to wear the clothes I was comfortable in again, and actually began to enjoy shopping for them , instead of trudging around the shops.
I do hope she reads this.

URGENT ELDERLY FASHION REQUEST

I'm 61 and have recently been wearing a nice discreet outfit adorned with tasteful arrows. However, on your page today I spotted a picture of myself when slightly younger looking amazingly dapper and chic. As I also happen to live in West London and avoid Chardonnay like the plague, I thought I should ask whether you feel I should revert to that fetching style of dress?
