How could someone know in advance that high-profile individuals are worth taking to court? Is that an admission?

"...I will make sure that they are brought to justice... if we can prosecute the most untouchable, then everybody is fair game..."

And no questions asked.

if he used those words he is a disgrace. That is an invitation to accuse anyone.

Why are they taking this tosspot seriously on the BBC?

Here's some more context, in itself rather telling, I think. The whole thing is 6 minutes long.
"If we can ta... if we can prosecute or have prosecuted the most untouchable, then everybody is fair game."

Surely it is a basic premise of justice in a democracy that you don't target people and then look for evidence.

Not any more! Come to think of it, the old "stop and search" laws in the seventies were doing the same thing, weren't they?
