Just found it on the FAB Mag page. It's good that he's so fondly remembered by so many.

And a lovely place for it too. I think he would have appreciated that.
I may be wrong, but did he or did he not have a poem released in the seventies set over music?
I can`t turn up anything on this, but it certainly is ringing bells.

Don't recall a poem, but he did record "You Make Me Feel So Young" in the 60s (I think).

The only thing I have found Al, is Alan Freeman and the Talmy Stone Band , Decca F11543, "Madison time".
Is this a different Alan?

Madison Time was released in South Africa in 1962. I've trawled around the Alan Freeman (Fluff) biogs and not found a mention of it. I did find an Alan Freeman, dulcimer player from the USA, but no link to The Talmy Stone Band, so that one's a mystery.

Let me know if you find anything more about that track. I'm curious now.

Anyone remember his wonderful appearance in Dr Terror's House Of Horrors?

Alan Freeman (the other one) was a top PYE A&R man in the early 60's.
I knew him well.

That pretty much clears that up, the other Alan, when you google him, keeps linking to Shel Talmy, which then links back to Jimmy Page et al.
