I was very keen to see Seabiscuit in the Cinema but never got around to it.
Splendid film; very clever direction (the big race started with black&white stills).
I was so happy to catch Mrs Henderson Presents at last too; and was spirited away by Spirited Away.

Other films I was really impressed by over the past couple of years... United 93, superb direction, best of the year... Casino Royale, much more than just a Bond film; The Passion of the Christ - brilliant movie, far more impressive than everyone said.

Anyone agree or disagree?

We just attempted the "King Kong " remake with Jack Black in it.
What can I say?
Hmmmmmmm.
Absolute pants!

It`s awful, how can anybody or any company spend so much money to make something so poor.
The green screen scenes do not fit, and they are laughable, sadly due to the high quality graphics.
Mr Black looks like he doesnt want to be there, and lets face it? We all know the story anyway for heavens sake.
How to lose $4m , and the rest, on making one of the finest "B" movies ever into a "E" movie, press the button and vote now, for your view.....

Spirited away is a wondeful film. I can also suggest belleville rendez-vous, it is a french (duh) cartoon which is equally brilliant.

I`m re watching "War of The Worlds" with a pile of festive ironing. I can`t fault it.
I`m still debating watching the Passion of Christ, I don`t "do" blood much.

Not seen any of the films mentioned so excuse me for going off at a tangent.

Koyaanisqatsi with music by Philip Glass - a visual fest that will leave you feeling guilty .

Saw Glass and co perform live while the film was being shown... a bit pointless actually, I want to watch the film not some people playing keyboards.

We loved "Goal" by the way, which goes into the business of football agents, I turned to my partner at the end, keeping the heart warming feeling with me, and she was a flood of tears!
Alan Shearer`s cameo appearance is absolutely brilliant but I will give nothing away.
But yip, that`s another 5* film for me, and pure escapism.
