What sickens me most about the Americans is that now their death toll has topped 3000 they are starting to show "concern".

They were totally disinterested when huge numbers (surely nearly a million now?) of Iraqis were being killed - but now that it's actually starting to affect them, they want change.

The latest policy will have no effect at all (save for encouraging more freedom fighters to take them on!)
The new numbers only bring the overal total to around 150,000 - a figure that it was at anyway a year ago !

the generals over here have made it clear that if they don't send 40,000 troops then its a waste of time and US will never get the upper hand.also in the know, you'd be surprised to hear many braindead Americans actually still have faith in Bush.unbelievable.

Yankers violate Internation law (again) by storming embassy 17 Years, 3 Months ago
Iran's embassy in Irbil, Iraq stormed ....

From BBC News -

Five US helicopters were used to drop troops on the roof of the consulate building, according to an Iranian website close to the revolutionary guards.

Vehicles cordoned off the access roads while troops broke down the front door, arrested five men inside and confiscated computers and documents, it said.

Iranian television has said they had been transferred to US central command in Baghdad.

Iran's foreign ministry condemned the attack, and summoned the ambassadors of Iraq and Switzerland which represents American interests in the Iranian capital to protest against it.
