Why have so many restuarants not worked out that people leave the microwaved or steamed veg that they put out on the table when the plate is completely adequately full of food the way it arrived?
I specifically asked last night in a restuarant that I am annoyed enough to not name , to not bring the veg out.
We started eating only "adequate" fillet steaks in wild mushroom sauce, when a smirking waiter brought out two huge dishes of boring brocolli, dried up carrots and potatoes. I assume this morning they are in the minestrone, worse than that they probably made an encore on somebody elses table after a repeat visit to the food warmer.
The parting comments from the owner, who doesn`t know I do food reviews...(unlucky sunshine! this is the only one you get from me...!)
Owner:"You realise Sir next time you come here, you will not be able to smoke".
Me:"The way you cremate steaks I don`t need to".
