Red Nose Day dinner 7 Years, 1 Month ago
I avoided the Red Nose Day (wasn't it once Comic Relief? Or was that Children In Need?) and enjoyed Michael Portillo's repeated Moroccan train journey whilst dining on roast duck, pink and succulent, with crisp roast potatoes, some delicious butternut squash with lettuce salad and a Tsing Tao beer.

As for the evening - I avoided BBC1 like the plague; always do during these events. Charity is wonderful; bad entertainment is not and using one as an excuse for the other is unforgivable.

We just binged on World Cup qualifiers. Wales are looking in the defence...Ireland need to a strong striker. Romanian and Italy need more distress flares.
