Gary Glitter's cousin accuses him of historic sex abuse 7 Years ago
Gary Glitter's cousin, after supporting him through his trials, has reported him to the press for historic sex abuse.

Anguish of the Glitter Girl

"In my head, I was pleading to Mum and Dad: ‘Come on, come on. I want to go.’ But I could not tell them because I knew they would not have believed me. … I decided I would wipe it from my memory. I would forget about it. … I am having counselling and I am considering going to the police."

If you decide to forget about something I wonder how you remember that you decided to forget about it.

GG does not stand a chance of defending himself of any accusations in the future.

I can't imagine that teenage girls would want to hang out with Gary Glitter in 1982. He was a forgotten has-been by 1982. I'm about the same age as this girl and Glitter wasn't even on the radar at this time.
There is one thing not saying anything and then making allegations, but actively supporting someone and then making allegations against them is difficult to believe.
On supporting Glitter after his arrest in Vietnam, she said that she had no one else, even though she mentioned that she went there with her husband.

And MWT will jump on any opportunity to destroy more of GG.

Tediously predictable.

Sometimes a gutter press story like this holds an almighty clue of a journalist pissing themselves laughing as they concoct a 'statement' for their article attributed to the "victim". In this one, it's that someone would *think*, in relation to the Leader of the Gang, 'Come On, Come On' (Come On, Come On! Come On, Come On, Come On!)

I recall an interview with one of JK's accusers (probably on that Ronson documentary) where he said, unconvincingly, "I was just a young teenage boy, who did things that young teenagers do, like HEDGEHOPPING'.
He might as well have added the word "anonymously".

it's true isn't it?

I saw him at a free concert in a park in the mid 70s and it was one of the best damned shows ever...2 drummers and GG was quite simply Show Biz at it's best a'strutting and a'prancing about the stage

But really- 80s / 90s ..who ever heard of him? (apart form some great songs that lived on)
