Thank you Jonathan - your support means a lot.

It's not easy writing through a fog of medication - and what I would normally have rattled off in a couple of hours - and ten times better - now takes me two days.

Still, I am determined to do something useful with my times, and not lie here feeling sorry for myself.

I really miss the camaraderie of my old blog - seeing the same old friends every day - but it has gone, and gone for ever, and there is no use crying over it.

Once I had 25,000 hits on posts my site- my post yesterday netted 26 hits!......... so I must pick myself up and start all over again. I can do it. Even my Twitter feed has gone!

You managed to pick yourself up after a massive fall from grace - and that is an inspiration to me. Maybe different circumstances, and different reasons, but the attitude of mind to do it is the same. Jus took forward, never back.

Very good and valid views, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this, and I'm amazed that none of the newspapers mention that fact that she has defended Jimmy Savile in her blog.

Ah that's because she hasn't, Robbie; she simply points out the anomalies in the false allegations.

And today, thanks to a flurry of overnight activity and the generosity of strangers - Ms Raccoon once again has a blog on which to write, and best of all, it is attached to the archive of my old posts so it is all in one place.

I hope to be able to update it daily - yesterday was a busy day, getting the signed nomination papers and the deposit to Islington Town Hall - again, an amazing feat, only made possible by the kindness and generosity of strangers.

I am now officially a 'Prospective Parliamentary Candidate' in the Islington North Constituency along with Jeremy Corbyn - who at this moment, has no more status than I do, we are both humble citizens of the United Kingdom, asking voters to support us.

The Electoral process is a great leveller!
