Oh well done Foz and thank you; I was also hypnotised by her silly legs and shoes and thought they illustrated her superficiality but didn't hit the exact words which you have done!

We find ourselves living in a vortex of idiocy - everyone and everything so idiotic, so transparent and so utterly pointless that - aside from avoiding mainstream television and (from now on) radio, I can no longer be bothered to write, tweet or comment online, nobody's listening anyway. Most of the people I've known for years have 'gone' to the point that I never expect to have an intelligent conversation with them again.
It's a good job I can find contentment in my hobbies and my work.
