Jonathan, as a fan of your music and music expertise since the early 70`s , i wish you all the best in the coming Weeks.
The world, in my lifetime has become a soured and at times a truly nasty place, i wish we could go back to those earlier times when things were simpler and nicer.
Once again best wishes for the times ahead Jonathan.
JK I'm so sorry it has come to this nobody should have to fight to prove your innocence of something alleged all those years ago.
You are a incredibly strong person I look forward to the correct outcome of NOT GUILTY.
Thanks - I have no intention of giving anyone hell; but hopefully using this to give a lot of other people hope. Hope is far more useful than hell! I tend to see the positive in things. The outpouring of support and love has been far, far more enjoyable than the few expressions of nastiness.
I think it's a disgrace that this prosecution is going ahead.
It looks like the prosecution is using the No Smoke Without Fire strategy, piling up 19 charges. This made me think of Rolf's second trial where, rather than shying away from discussion of his convictions, his defence made extensive criticism of them thereby casting doubt on the matters being tried. Perhaps you are competently advised, dear host, but this might be a tactic for you to emulate, especially discussion of your second prosecution which was a proven pack of lies and the third which was abandoned because of the fiasco of the second. And, come to think of it, the untrue allegations in the first trial where you can now prove you were in America...
Apart from that, it's a great soapbox for you. You have my support and sympathy.
For some reason, the image of Omran Daqneesh, the boy caught up through no fault of his own in the horrors and craziness of the Syrian conflict, springs to mind.
Advice please.
Probably the most recent comprehensive but succinct account of JK’s miscarriage of justice is his own eloquent account in the video ‘Escape from Britain’.
It is from 2.25 to 27.58 at
2.25 to 27.58
Question. Should we extract this and promote it as a stand alone ‘JK giving the facts’, in hope that this makes it easier for the media to take note?
I personally was shocked when at 13.23 in the documentary Jonathan says that the judge in charge of his appeal which was rejected had been at Cambridge with him and they had sex together at a time when it was illegal. The judge was slightly older than Jonathan at the time so he would have been held more responsible.
Surely this judge should have recused himself from the appeal?
Could we name him?
Separately, we intend talking directly with Jonathan about this latest ‘police review’.
