my summer invention as seen in an earlier dinner pic; half a glass of very good, dry white wine (Puligny Montrachet or Sancerre is suggested). Add half a dozen dried apricots (they plump up in the wine; give them a few minutes so the aroma leaks into the taste). Add sparkling water (San Pellegrino is best). It is very refreshing (don't drink too much if you're driving). Like a Wine Spritzer but with a very subtle added apricot under taste.
