Very odd dream last night - I died and went to heaven 17 Years, 1 Month ago
For some reason I was travelling with Bryan Adams! (we did fly on Concorde together once).
When I got there I was asked what I'd most enjoyed about life and I answered "making people happy".
So I was allocated to a job guiding people who couldn't find loved ones or homes or important things... I remember one large family were from Finland and couldn't find it. I showed them (must be a prescience of Eurovision here).
It was most rewarding. I asked God (or whoever) how I knew how to point these people in the correct directions and he answered "that's your job".
The happiness it engendered with people finding lost husbands and wives and so on was fantastic.
A lovely (but weird) dream. Went on all night.

PS I was the first and only person to play Bryan's first release Another Lonely Night. He told me his granny who lived in the UK used to phone him in Vancouver and tell him every time I played it.

It`s one of the joys of being a human to have dreams that follow a thread all night, usually caused by strong food last thing before bed.
My recent favourite was meeting Lulu at school, having many hits and doing a documentary for TV at "our" watercress farm that we had retired to!

When I was in my teens, me and my friends decided that we lost half of our lives whilst sleeping and so every Friday night we would not go to bed at all and play John Peel shows all night on cassette.

We finally stopped this completely barking mad habit, when four of us were completely asleep the following day in the town centre at 2pm.

I think this form of dreaming should have a name, so I am going to invent one,* "The Blockbuster Dream".*

(coming soon to an REM sleep near you)

Bryan Adams` Gran lives in Plymouth I believe, but "that was just a dream...."

At least you knew it was a dream straight away. They would never let a man of your persuasion into cloud land don't you know! It would not do to have two men (or to a lesser degree two women) kissing each other in plain view of other cloud land inhabitants who happened to look up from their daily mail.

And as for that loud music that you HARP on about, I mean really........
