Gary Glitter was mentioned in the top 40 rundown on the 1984 Top of The Pops rerun on BBC4 Friday evening. How did that slip through? But why should it not be mentioned. The BBC skipped an entire edition (originally broadcast June 21st 1984) due to Mr Glitter being the opening act and thus impossible to edit out. Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
