Weinstein - the False Allegations Industry takes off in the USA 2 Weeks, 1 Day ago Karma: 49
Always remembering Cosby, Jackson and others - the richer and more famous you are, the bigger the pot of gold and the larger the media coverage.
Having said that - it may be true. There are a lot of Vile Perverts around. But times and moralities change (a peck on the cheek in 1967 is considered Rape in 2017); memories exaggerate; events alter recollections.

yet again a series of accusations that are probably almost impossible to prove.

As for the Daily Mail running a piece criticizing several actors like Nicole Kidman etc for NOT attacking Weinstein, this is absolutely outrageous.

This is like demanding people attack a person accused before trial.

Especially, if say an accusation could be proved, legal action may follow.

The gutter media as always helps create the problem and then benefits by demolishing the problem

That's the point - many false allegations are exaggerations; not totally false - so if ITK is accused of raping some girl 50 years ago he might well apologise if he vaguely remembers he DID once date her and it never went anywhere, especially if she says she does not intend to pursue the claim if he apologises. Do listen to the lyric of PLEAD GUILTY ITK.

do keep up dear..he did not apologies for the allegations he said he was 'modifying' his behavior (whatever that means) and will be taking defamation action against the New York Times as many of the claims were not true.

why they ever allow you out of the Retired Tragic Tory Maximum Security Twilight Home is a constant mystery.

"As Harvey has said, it is important for him to get the professional help for the problems he has acknowledged.

"Next steps will depend on Harvey's therapeutic process, the outcome of the board's independent investigation and Harvey's own personal decisions."

The announcement came a day after The New York Times reported that the co-chairman of the Weinstein Co has over the years reached at least eight legal settlements with women over alleged harassment.

"I realised some time ago that I needed to be a better person and my interactions with the people I work with have changed.

"I appreciate the way I've behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologise for it.

"Though I'm trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go. That is my commitment. My journey now will be to learn about myself and conquer my demons."

He continued: "I've brought on therapists and I plan to take a leave of absence from my company and to deal with this issue head on. I so respect all women and regret what happened."

ALL of the above from - news.sky.com/story/movie-mogul-harvey-we...ment-claims-11068842

Thats an awful lot of admissions for someone who didn't do anything !

Yes and it personifies modern life and superficiality - many people do and regret many things; for many it is impossible to see complex issues so they simplify it to black and white. Not easy, is it?

And no surprise there, as Ted Heath would be fired as PM and Savile fired from the BBC if both were still alive and kicking!

Of for God's sake you poor innocent- being 'fired' from the corporation you own a quarter of probably means a multi-million $$ pay-off plus the ability to start yet another production company (unless of course that $40M pay-off says he can't for 5 years)

You have so much learn petal. I'm recommending Nursie put extra Valium in you coca tonight.

(she did ask me if arsenic would be in order but I said no- we need a tame Tory to poke at with sticks..preferably a live one)

ITK didn't you know sexual assault doesn't exist according to many on this site, even when they admit it, apologise, and seek out treatment. Even Donald Trump said that he isn't surprised by the allegations.

None of us are surprised either Robbie; nor would we be if Mr Trump himself (begging for Karma, accusing Harvey) was accused. And most of us - if not all - would likewise agree there is a great deal of sexual abuse, many rapes and numerous other offensive activities polluting our species. But some of us also think there are a great deal more exaggerations, inflations, inventions and fantasies these days.

I read a fascinating (lost) article where a bunch of University students & techies studied all of Donald Trump's speeches.

They found when he tells the truth his stress levels rose but when he blatantly lies- which is often and natural he was at his most relaxed.

Hence he is the Prince of Lies as predicted by the Bible who would arrive just before Armageddon !! ( North Korea? Nuclear War)

So we are all going to Hell in a Handbasket any day now..not socialists as they too will walk with Jesus the original Socialist ( ie - moi)
