TOPIC: Bob Larbey

Bob Larbey 6 Years, 6 Months ago
Rather hooked to As Time Goes By - missed it first time around; apart from Dench and Palmer, both magnificent, it is terribly well written. I see Bob Larbey only left us a couple of years ago. It is beautifully understated. Am I becoming an old fart? They don't make hits like we used to.

Hope you are eating Egg Custard Tarts whilst viewing?

It's a great series and a bit bonkers in places.

And Geoffrey Palmer is still with us - at 90!

Lovely show tonight - he proposes and is accepted. Anyone know Palmer? Can they pass on our love? Seeing Philip Jones (I'm sure he was connected to Thank Your Lucky Stars) and Sidney Lotterby - are they still with us?

Of course he gave us the wonderfull "The Good Life", probably in the top 5 of the best sitcoms ever written. The 70s were the golden age of sitcoms "Fawlty Towers", "The Good Life", "Porridge",
