Patel must go - immediately 6 Years, 5 Months ago
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-41904459

What does she think she is doing?

Carrying on secret talks with a terrorist state like Israel?

They have always tried to infiltrate other governments - just look at the USA - and exert influence for their own advantage.

Although it would be difficult for the PM, she must go - now.

I'm afraid I really do not go along with this media frenzy for "great stories". Much though I loathe May and would be delighted to see her replaced by someone slightly competent (but who?) I simply don't agree with these witch hunts. Ditto the Royals - and, for me, the ridiculous waste of time, money and energy spent on discovering that people prefer to pay as little tax as legally possible. I bet Bono has given more money to charities than he has ever saved by avoiding tax.

A case is currently been taken against the Government and its £1 billion payment to the DUP (for keeping them in power) - as it appears to contravene the Bribery Act.

Gina Miller has ensured that Parliamentary approval will be required for the payment - should it proceed - putting many Tories in a quandary.

Should they support the dubious practice of a political party paying another for allowing it to stay in government?

Or should they rightly refuse - and place their seats in jeopardy...

but what has she been doing ... that needed to be underhand and kept secret?

we simply cannot allow Minister to run their departments for their own benefit without the government knowing what is going on.

Ms Patel was already under scrutiny after she failed to inform either the Foreign Office or Downing Street
about 12 meetings she held with top officials during a 13-day "family holiday" to Israel in August.
news.sky.com/story/priti-patel-ends-afri...ngs-exposed-11118155

12 "meetings" in 13 days? ... was this a holiday (and WHO paid for it?) - or a spying mission?

It was left to her junior minister Alistair Burt to explain how, on returning from her Israel trip,
Ms Patel had proposed giving departmental cash to the Israeli army for aid programmes in the Golan Heights, which was ruled "not appropriate".

Sack Her Now !

"further details have come to light"

This is interesting !

I ask again -

who paid for the "holiday"?

was she being paid by Israel?

has she endangered the Commons by secretly meeting agents from another "state"

.... this is NOT the end of this

I think JK you are now calling every single tabloid tale a "good story" which are undoubtedly they are,but some are stories that need to be told!
(have you got a personal 747 registered in Jersey? ..if all the owners with jets registered in tax havens decided to visit in the same week how could they all fir in the place?))

Piti Patel's actions are not just a complete breach of ethics they were bloody dangerous and have exposed- not they need to be- Israel's continued covert lobbying of so many Western politicians who end up acting as "agents of influence" for a foreign power (in the USA this is an indictable offense with heavy penalties).

How the incompetent extreme right-winger ever got near a portfolio is a mystery but..good riddance to a ghastly woman.

# I'd need proof that Bono has 'donated' more to charity (donations themselves are tax deductions)than tax he may have avoided.

Others, too, have noticed (as ITK spotted well before anyone else) that this whole episode stinks like a DEAD RAT !
