One of the many aspects of getting older is knowing dozens of people having to cope with cancer. Dear Anna Raccoon was given weeks after being diagnosed (in 2011 I think) and survived until a few months ago. Another friend, diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer 12 years ago, is having lunch with me today (he was given 4 months by doctors). This report - out today - only reflects what many of us have known for ages.
