Listening to Sounds of the 60s hearing Winchester Cathedral and remembering my teenage years and first hit as a singer - Everyone's Gone To The Moon which sold almost 5 million copies as a single. I was on a 2% royalty. Still made me enough to buy my little house for £18,650. But I fast realised that production and ownership of copyrights made far more so, instead of following it with It's Good News Week as a singer, I produced it with Hedgehoppers Anonymous, paid them the 2% royalty and kept my 98%. Of course, as writer of both I made far more and when they went onto compilations and albums both sold many millions more. Happy days.
