He may be a good promoter (hiring venues, organising tickets / promotion / advertising etc) but that does NOT mean he has a good set of ears or can advise an artist, does it?
As far as I am aware ALL the acts he has ever worked with were already major stars before he got involved - you may as well ask Harvey Goldsmith's hairdresser for their opinion !
I bumped into Harvey on the Croissette in Cannes and we strolled together towards our lunch dates having a good old gossip and chewing the industry over.
