Yes it is a wonder he wasn't accused of all sorts!

It is always a worry what to do with lost children.
With older ones I persuade them to stand still beside me and call their mum, but I once had to hold a fifteen month old against his will when he wanted to hurl himself down the stairs in Ikea.
I was expecting to be handcuffed.

He narrowly avoided jail but now it looks like the boy's family is going to be ripped apart by social services for his 'own protection' (LOL, the lies!).

social services = 100% SJWs these days.

Do you have a link for this? I cant find any information about SS being involved.

I'd have thought it would only be needed if the child was left alone or something, rather than just wandered off in the night.

Honey, it's at the bottom of the article:

Northamptonshire County Council have been contacted as to whether social services are involved.

Though now I re-read it perhaps it means the paper is asking whether or not social services are involved, initially I thought it meant the police are asking them to be involved.

Either way though, the SJW hive mind is clearly wanting him to be taken from his family and raped by SJWs.

Social services should never be allowed to be involved in anything. We used to have this thing called 'due process' in this country but that got abolished with the 1989 Children Act that allowed government agents to tear apart families without due process. But there has been no suggestion of improper conduct by social workers in this case.
They would normally be informed when there is police involvement, but unless there was obvious cause for concern, the check is likely to be a swift phone call or a five minute visit.

As for the social justice warriors wanting him taken away, I see no evidence anywhere of this.
I expect most people think it was just a well cared for little boy going roaming in the night, as they sometimes do.

But an SJW will say, his parents should have been watching him 24/7! How irresponsible are they!

Anyway, you might be right on this occasion, but on another occasion you will be wrong. Like the case of Evgeny Soifertis, who I pointed to on another thread, who's son was kidnapped by Social Services all because he was home alone when a fire broke out! A 12 year old! Home alone! Imagine that. Strange that's such a heinous crime when 20-30 years ago it was central to the highest grossing movie of all time - "Home Alone".

Just making a point

Well actually, the point of the film was that terrible things can happen to children left home alone, not an advert to leave them!

True, perhaps "Home Alone" is to blame for the current sad state of affairs regarding leaving "children" alone

Evgeny Soifertis has just been mentioned here as someone who wrongfully lost his son through Social Services intervention. Evgeny has been jailed for 8 months for his continuing public protests and online publishing. He appeared with me on a Russia Today documentary which was taken down by RT under threat of having its UK agency assets seized. The documentary was uploaded to Youtuvbe here

Since then I featured in this documentary about him. Note the performance of the SS worker in his dealings with this concert pianist. Sadly, I now believe that Evgeny has been finally destroyed.

Funnily enough, someone once told me it was ok for her to leave her two year old alone while she went to the shops because they did it on Eastenders.

It seems more acceptable now to leave children for short periods, like after school and before the parents get home, I suppose because people have no choice. Yet the same thing twenty years ago would have had them whisked to a place of safety.

@Brian:

That sounds absolutely terrible. I imagine the documentary is still at risk of being taken down since youtube are now full blown SJW and will delete anything and everything that is politically incorrect - legal or not!

But perhaps when his son is 18 they will be able to be reunited and he will be able to relay to the police the emotional abuse he suffered at the hands of this "social worker"? Karma as I think JK would say

I also wonder could he not have fled back to Russia with his son? Fat chance of Russia granting an extradition request, I would have thought.

@honey:

No I think 20 years ago things would have actually been more tolerant. And certainly 40 years ago things would have been far more tolerant.

Eugene (Evgeny) was trying to flee to Ireland with our help and there was also an offer from Denmark to take him, but SS seized his son before he could get away. This case also illustrates another huge problem. Two psychiatric reports were used against him in court and later with expert help we were able to pull these apart, but there is no way of challenging such ‘expert witnesses’. Another irony is that in the second video where his lead social worker is speaking that SW’s accent and way of expression are such that commentators asked if we could supply subtitles, but we could not decipher what he said either. We can understand the words of the Russian concert pianist but not those of the powerful UK state official.

Again, absolutely terrible. It seems as if in Britain there is no rule of law, men are just randomly arrested and their lives destroyed based on the whims of the feminist state.

Honestly, the society here is politically, legally, socially and culturally BROKEN. What can we do? As I say, best I can think of is for his son to make all sorts of allegations against the social workers in time, though as usual government criminals seem to have a habit of escaping justice for their crimes.
