The official name, in English (in which most type on here) for the Republic of Ireland - is Ireland.
As set out in the country's 1937 Constitution - and acknowledged, for many years by (for example), by the UN.
Eire is a different language and rarely used these days - although still can be seen on the country's coinage etc.
Sadly - due to abject governance and corrupt politicians - Ireland was virtually bankrupt in recent years.
