Loving Spiral 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I know Robbie is a big fan too; my favourite is Gilou; deliciously flawed and real.

And it has taught me an amazing amount about being a mother that this 73 year old never knew!

Still terrific - the cops are delightfully flawed but decent; Gilou my favourite.

My other favourite, Roban (the white haired Judge) is having his skull drilled through. He was at the table next to me in Paris a couple of years ago; I became quite fan like.

Gilou and Laure have finally got it together! I wish UK cops were like the Spiral cops (but I must admit I'm sure French cops aren't like this either).

It is delightfully complex and how rare is that in life these days? The terrific barrister Josephine (Audrey from the also superb Witnesses) is losing it; about ten threads in each show.

Sunday Times today calls it the best thing on TV. Like me, they love the fact that all the characters are sympathetic but badly flawed.

How watching a cop show can inform you how to bathe a premature baby, only other Spiral fans can know!

It is terribly well written too; the final scenes latest episode regarding the tunnel through to the restaurant made Hollywood look amateur.
