I feel the same way about this as I do about MeToo and stopping giving monies to charity - it is bonkers to punish innocent people for the crimes of a few. Why should millions suffer as a gesture against a handful of loonies?

Cobra meeting called for this morning.

It makes sense, as any sanctions would hurt us as much as them.

They have spent billions on the world cup, and will be humiliated if its a flop (as was the Moscow Olympic Games when most of the big players stayed away).
