But - in the Europa Cup draw today - Arsenal drew Moscow, and will play there in April.

Russian fans are notoriously volatile - and London visitors could have a perilous time, in view of the allegations being made.

Russia has a motive
Russia has a history of killing its opponents (Litvinyeko etc)
Russia has used chemical weapons - banned by international treaty - over 1,000 times in Syria.

Why on Earth would the PM, the security services, police et all conspire to make such an allegation?
