On BBC London news tonight. It is becoming almost a truism. Not that it bothers PCC Munro. One man's incompetence is another man's pay cheque. Browder's description of Surrey Police echoes my own experiences.

Alex Pere... Bill Browder...

www.independent.co.uk/voices/sergei-skri...-putin-a8242096.html

and from the Mail coverage of the Inquest...

The court heard an investigation by Surrey Police had concluded that there was no basis he was murdered.
But Mr Skelton reminded the court that the 'adequacy or otherwise' of the police investigation was not part of the inquest remit.

But on the BBC Browder was devastating about Surrey Police, saying Surrey residents should move out!

Listened to a US "security expert" on radio yesterday saying claim Russia or Putin murdered these ex-spies etc shouldn't be just accepted because a politician claims it without concrete proof.

In the case of Sergei Skripal he pointed out that he had exposed dozens of Russian spies and surprisingly got quite a light sentence in Russia when usually he would have been executed.

His enemies would have been legion while the Western media paints him as some sort of innocent party whereas all Russians would conclude he was a vile traitor and he would have had 100s of fierce enemies.
# the fact he was only jailed he said would have been a Russian long-term plan to use him to exchange..as eventually happened.

Given his rather slack attempts at keeping below the radar..boasting to taxi drivers etc.. could easily have been a target for someone he exposed in the past.

Same goes for those who have ripped off money in Russia..the Russian Mafia is all powerful.

Who knows what poisons are easily obtainable in Russia where money buys anything.
