I think the French are the ones to watch ... they seem to be driving Trump onwards.
They were ready to attack back in 2013 (remember Obama's "Red Line"?) but felt let down when the Yellow Labour Party put their hands-up and surrendered.

Still working on it Andrew, and it ain't easy.

Champions League final is on Kiev, and also trying to organise that.

As Liverpool have surprised most by getting to the semi-finals.

Draw tomorrow morning, last 4 - Liverpool, Madrid, Munich and Rome.

Match tickets, accommodation, venues/locations, travel are all in the mix.

So no. We're trying to get the right advice - from the right people, without being fleeced.

However, the FA - and their recommended agents - have been very helpful.

In our group (of 4), there is also - unfortunately - different views and priorities, like seeing parts of Russia before/after the tournament.

Then - do we factor in an early England exit or....

Don't be silly, andrew !

You can have as many as you like !

And, as Russia will be bankrupt after the tournament is scrapped - www.dw.com/en/who-will-pay-for-russias-o...-stadiums/a-43350611 - you can also have a free trip to Siberia !!

Its a sad reflection of some people's intelligence (or lack of) when a football match out-weights something important like a tyrant killing his own people, and threatening world stability.

Still, if your brain capacity can only stretch so far ....

Why not tell that to England and the other 31 nations who are earnestly preparing for the tournament, and have no plans to withdraw?

read without laughing !

===

BERLIN, April 13. /TASS/. There is no indications at all that even a single national football federation has intentions to boycott the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Alexey Sorokin, the director general of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Russia-2018, told German daily Bild.

"We did not hear from any country about information that a particular footbaal federation wanted to boycott the world championship," Sorokin said in an interview with Bild. The football official also said that security provision during the championship was one of the top priorities for the organizers.

"We will do everything possible to root out a terrorist threat," Sorokin said adding that he was not expecting fans aggression or clashes between fans of different teams.

NOTE - TASS is the Russian's propaganda machine.

They are clearly worried, and when they say they are not expecting fan clashes they have clearly forgotten the last encounter in France !!!

Delusional, or what?
