Jeremy Hunt, a fellow old Charterhouse pupil, campaigning for restrictions on Social Media - ban trolls and children! I'm not convinced by extreme, simple solutions. Complex problems need complex answers. Like everything this century, many problems come from starting things off without thinking about consequences. I was always guilty of this - getting Chumbawamba signed, released and promoted before they had signed their agreed contract with me - as a result I made thousands from Tubthumping instead of millions - and the career of the band became a One Hit Wonder instead of a serious force in society.
That's the problem Andrew; they never signed our agreement but I did the job and got the single released and turned into a hit. Then they turned around and said they had decided not to sign the deal (giving me a small percentage of all sales on their product) after all.
