TOPIC: Clive Woodward summed it up
#177358
Clive Woodward summed it up 5 Years, 11 Months ago
A guest at the wedding - he said Harry just looks incredibly happy. That's what I feel about the wedding. Two people in love. What more could you ask?

Well, it would be nice if they could do it without insulting close family by inviting strangers instead of them, but they are certainly not unusual in that.

If it makes Prince Harry happy, then I am delighted for them.

From the looks of things, they did invite close family. I saw most of them there. It was a family wedding, as opposed to a state wedding, so the couple had more space in the chapel for people who mattered to them (not strangers).

Her mother was the only relative on Meghan's side, and I felt so sorry for her sitting all alone.

1. A sick bag.

2. A republic.

slightly wrong Honey. There were other relatives who traveled to the UK but I don't think they were at the wedding. I think they were paid to attend by a US TV network.

It's sad her dad couldn't attend but his life is now changed forever and he will have numerous opportunities to be with his ( quarter Black- go fuck yourselves Andrew & that other fool) daughter.

Britain of course demonstrated what it does better than any other country- pomp and ceremony. No-one does it better although the wedding of the Danish prince to a Tasmanian lass (who was my real estate agent in Kings Cross and assisted in the purchase of my flat) was pretty fabulous in a "toy town" way.

This is the UK & Royal Family moving with the times ( do not pretend everything isn't planned) and ensuring one of the greatest tourism assets which brings £Billions into the UK ( compared to the £Millions it costs) survives for another 40 years.

God Save The Queen !
