I haven't spoken to a single person with one negative thing to say about it; and that includes in Paris where I watched it.

The reaction from young friends this morning...

"I'm not being funny, but 200 thousand effing quid for that dress? I've seen better in charity shops for twenty-five!."

And..

"Eighteen thousand for hair and make up and they didnt even give her waterproof mascara? She could have have just got Maybelline for a fiver! Poor cow!"

But everyone thoroughly enjoyed watching it, and we all loved the rampant preacher.

I love to know how the broadcasters paid to be there? Sky got the lowest ratings but spent a fortune.
