he was a foot-in-the-door reporter on a tabloid TV show and was the first one to interview the first Rolf accuser and her friend. Much of the accuser's accusations were ridiculed in court and found false but nonetheless accepted (and she was able to clear her debts)

Her friend (who admitted to being an alcoholic) excitedly told the show the UK cops were going to "fly her to London and put me in a big hotel"..she almost salivated at the thought.

This reporter's actions were quite bizarre as it seems the claims about him ogling young boys seems to be true which is so odd seeing the sort of reports he did (like Rolf) but perhaps it indicates the arrogance that many in the media exude..as though they are untouchable.

I know several who seem oblivious to the coming disappearance of their jobs. Some have held out until the last minute expecting huge redundancies but that's being slashed as well.

It's just not a good time to be 20-30-40 or 50 years old.(thank God I'm 89 and look 32 and have a free bus pass not that I would be found dead on one).

I thought the cops were pretty nasty the way they arrested him..deliberately waiting until he was driving and then swooping with several police cars right outside Fox Studios where film crews were strategically placed.

His crime seemed incredibly minor..was it only one photo and some very unwise chat to another like-minded?

Always wondered about fantasists (fantasizing about young boys on the beach) as well which he seems to be.

as we would say..karma karma karma

Fascinating. I well remember, in a successful attempt to wreck any Appeal chances I might have had, in 2003 Surrey Police arresting poor Matthew Kelly, who I had never met, and reviving all the newspaper publicity about my case, just a week before my Appeal was due to be heard; reminding the Judges who runs justice in the UK (the tabloids). I look forward to the day when Surrey Police and the tabloids join the Judges in that nice, warm, hot area of the afterlife.
