It's very unfair but since she's the star of the show perhaps there's no way round it. I think they're well rid of her, though. It apparently wasn't the first time she'd done this.

tried to watch the original but it was such obvious boring US comedy..gave up.

She's mad and bad. They'll all get jobs on another series or perhaps they can sue her.

The Network could have faced untold lawsuits if she continued.

And not a good look for the Disney Channel who own ABC.

I cant even work out what she was thinking. At first I thought she must have meant something about the woman's behaviour was like somebody in the planet of the apes films but she actually admitted that she was making fun of her looks Which still doesn't make sense.

It must be some sort of weird psychological self sabotage thing,I think. (I hope Randall will explain it all for us )

Given that she previously compared Susan Rice to an ape, I suspect that her claim that she was joking about the woman's looks was an attempt to pretend she wasn't being racist.

Wikipedia says she had a traumatic brain injury at sixteen (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roseanne_Barr#Early_life), which apparently can cause symptoms including verbal outbursts, poor judgement and impulsive behaviour (www.brainline.org/article/tbi-101-behavioral-emotional-symptoms).

Her ex husband says she has "mental health issues".

It's a real shame for all the other people involved in the show. Maybe someone will be able to write something new that doesn't involve her.

she's given interviews before saying she has been diagnosed with schizophrenia which is far more subtle than people think.

It could well be the case.

It's impossible to work in US show business and be racist - you would go absolutely mad.

I don't believe she's a racist..just shoots her mouth off at inappropriate times. Bit like Trump really.
