I don't follow the horses. I only bet on football and the Eurovision.

The National is great news for the bookies. It attracts the once a year punters, yet is the biggest lottery going, guaranteeing a huge cash influx for them.

I must admit I do enjoy the spectacle, but I just hope none of the horses end up dead this year.

I had a winner at 50-1 with Last Suspect a few years back. Also Hallo Dandy in a previous year.

I've not been as up with info this year, so I have to stab in the dark a bit, but here's four horses to watch.

Graphic Approach a strong Irish horse with a good 100-1 outside chance. The stable hasn't had many winners, but this is the Grand National where anything can happen. If he's still there at half way then he could pull it off.

Bewleys Berry another Irish horse which likes the big fences.

Simon and Monkerhostin both have an equal chance. Can be a bit unpredicatble, but that adds to the suspense.

Hopefully I haven't just doomed each of them to fall at the first.
