Yet another school shooting - this time 22 dead already !

Hardly a week goes by without a school shooting somewhere in America.

ITK , we are sitting here glued to the news(and the comp news) as we have family out there and can`t get through.

Our guys are fine.
Dreadful about those that are not.

On that University campus ?

There are appx 20,000 murders in the USA each year (thats around 55 a day !)

it turns out the first shooting was 2 hours before the massacre,but those yank fuckwits chose not to shut the campus.after columbine clinton banned uzi's and suchlike that fired 100 shots per minute,but now bush is in shit street he reinstalled there use and the yanks right to buy them again as it gets redneck votes via rifle association,it disgusts me to watch that moron bush on TV today saying how sad it all is,but its his fault these guns are on the street again.they should have banned guns when that idiot killed John Lennon.

According to Newsnight last night, Virginia (where the latest shooting happened) HAS actually taken a small step to control gun use - but you will NOT believe the result !

Under new ligislation Virginians are only allowed to buy 12 guns a year - not more than one a month !!!

Can you believe that?? "Control" to them means no more than one gun a month !

Is there any wonder that the country has become dehumanised, and considers that invading other countries and killing one million of their people is quite acceptable if they get their hands on their oil?

The sad thing is...The president of that university will be encouraged to resign by the masses over there... Because the university has a policy of no weapons being brought into the campus.

So students couldn't use their amendment rights and defend themselves!!

It's scary that more shootings are starting to occur over here where we have tight gun laws.

Let's all arm ourselves, then - and it will be just like America (with 20,000 murders a year - average)

Unfortunately the gun lobbyists do have one point on their side; if the students had had their own guns they would probably not be dead.

'but guns breed guns etc etc...' - I agree but the NRA don't. If i have a gun then no-one can hurt me is their mantra and no-one will shift them.

If you lived somewhere where burgulars were frequent and armed what would you do? Its an important question because it is starting to happen over here. It's easy to say crazy americans but we are the same animals only with slightly different laws.

And if I might add, re-Virginia, all those guns and a church on every corner.
