Must be twenty times I've watched this wonderful film; one of very few remakes that's as good as or better than the original. Like The Man Who Knew Too Much. Both Arthur Lowe and Angela Lansbury are best they ever were; ditto Herbert Lom. And both Gould and Shepherd superb. Both remakes of Hitchcock originals.
Generally rather sneered at but I thought it was terribly well written and great fun; just as good as the Hitchcock (which I also have a soft spot for as a near relative was in that, playing "Mrs" Todhunter).
